The Brand

The original company Nico-E (Pty) Ltd. was initially founded with the intent of offering tobacco smokers with a healthier and more cost-effective alternative, e-smoking. Following the recent acquisition of an equity stake in the company by Avacarehealth, an International Pharmaceutical company, Nico-E has evolved into Avavape (Pty) Ltd t/a Avacarevape. As our partners and many of our associates are medical professionals the focus is on designing and manufacturing products that conform to the highest quality standards and ethical values. Avacarevape is positioning itself as a leader in sophisticated extraction processes of botanical medicinal products from plant/herbal materials, thus Avacarevape aspires to utilize our latest developed solutions (awarded with International & USA patents) to cater for consumers leaning towards natural substance intake by providing them with the purest extracted substances combined with the highest bio-availability.

Concept

Nico-E is unique as all substances that we use are at pharmaceutical grade as well as all our manufacturing is done under pharmaceutical conditions in South Africa. When it comes to manufacturing our products, from sourcing ingredients, the manufacturing process, right up to final packaging is overseen by a pharmacist. All development of new products is executed by our medical research and development panel, who have many years of pre and post graduate experience in medical research and pharmaceutical development.

We aim to cater for most of the e-cigarette and vaping community. We pride ourselves in having a wide variety of E-liquids in various flavours and nicotine strengths, with e-cigarette devices in different sizes. We also have a range of top vaping devices to go with high quality liquids and accessories to modify. We have acknowledged that in every area the communities’ preferences differ and we now strive to meet each need. Avacarevape has established itself with an expansive footprint in the retail market of South Africa in a relatively short space of time. Dedicated Avacarevape Kiosks, in major shopping centres are being rolled out nationally on a continuous basis.

Most of our kiosks consist of 2 or 3 employees. One would fill the roll of kiosk manager, the other as permanent staff and a casual. We prefer our staff to be familiar with retail and to have the ability to communicate and sell well to consumers.

Nico-E’s kiosks have been operating for 12 months with known history and performance.

Support

Training:

Franchisees will be provided training on all the main aspects of the business, these include:

• Financial and business systems.
• Staff recruitment and management.
• Guidance on marketing techniques.

This training programme will last anywhere between a few days and a few weeks. It may include on-the-job training at the franchisees site or theoretical instruction at the corporate headquarters, or a combination thereof.

Marketing and advertising:

Franchisees will be supplied with customised, professional marketing materials such as posters, brochures, banners, and many more.

Support:

Franchisees will be provided with a comprehensive operations manual. This manual will outline all aspects of running the business in detail.

Franchisees will be able to contact the head office at any time when questions or concerns arise.

The franchisor will hold annual meetings or conferences with their franchisees to evaluate the growth and earnings of the franchise. This will also be a good opportunity to share any concerns, and to examine new ideas and do strategic planning for the business.
