Burger Bistro

Burger Bistro

Full Description

The Brand

Realising that there are no truly decent hamburgers to be found in Pretoria, or for that matter, elsewhere in South Africa; and prompted by childhood memories of a classic burger joint, the principals decided to open their own hamburger restaurant. Soon after in 2012, Burger Bistro was established, premises were secured and the bistro was launched with great success. The principals ascribe their achievements to hard work, the inspiration of excellence and a vision which arose from their passion for great burgers made with prime-quality patties, specially baked buns and ingredients of the highest quality. Burger Bistro won FASA’s 2016 Franchisor of the Year Award in the newcomer category!

Burger Bistro’s core business is the operation of a fully licenced, gourmet burger restaurant. This includes preparing and serving a range of delicious, generous burgers, together with side dishes, steaks, sandwiches, beverages and alcohol.
Outlets are typically 150m2 to 180m2, with 3 phase power supply, able to comfortably seat 40 to 50 diners, located in relatively inexpensive convenient centres, with ample, safe parking and great visibility.
The number of staff depends on the size of the operation and comprises cooks, cooks’ assistants, scullions, general assistants and waiters.

The franchisor shall provide the franchisee with 4 (four) weeks’ initial training. Training shall comprise both the theoretical and practical aspects of the business. The franchisor shall provide the franchisee with ongoing training from time to time, as required, as the business system develops and in order to stay abreast of developments and changes in the industry.

Are You Our Next Franchisee?

A candidate needs to preferably have experience in the restaurant and food industry. If not, a suitably qualified person should be appointed as manager. Most importantly however, the prospective franchisee must be highly motivated and passionate about owning and operating a Burger Bistro franchise, and must be wholly committed to succeeding in the business.
