Assisted Home Nursing offers a 24/7 professional, personal and compassionate home-based caring for the elderly or disabled in the comfort of their own home. Our range of service enables the elderly to retain an optimum degree of independence and dignity, thus reducing unnecessary stress for the individual and their family. Most importantly, our caregivers provide a level of companionship that prevents our customers from feeling isolated and lonely.

The Brand

Home-based care or assisted living is becoming increasingly important in today’s modern and fast-paced environment where career commitments often make it impossible for families to attend to the care of their housebound elders.

As an alternative to living in a nursing or retirement home, assisted living allows senior citizens who require some assistance but not necessarily round-the-clock care, to remain at home surrounded by familiar comforts. By visiting with housebound seniors caregivers provide social interaction that prevents them from becoming lonely and/or isolated, while also assisting with small tasks to make their life easier.

Concept

Elderly care giving, also referred to as assisted living, is an alternative for senior citizens who choose not to reside in a nursing or retirement home, instead the client remains at home and employs the services of a caregiver to provide help as needed. Home care allows them to continue life in comfortable and familiar surrounds, perhaps even surrounded by the pets they adore and do not want to give up. Caregivers’ experienced staff are committed to providing professional, compassionate home-based care.

Caregivers offers a range of business models from a home-based care franchise at R 250 000 to exclusive boutique retirement homes, step down centres and large retirement homes at the high end.

Their services range from light housework and running errands to providing companionship, helping patients attend to their personal hygiene, meal preparation and post-hospital care. Caregivers will visit the patient/client, assess their situation and make care recommendations based on the needs of the individual. A carer is then sourced who will be a best fit with the needs of the individual, but in the event that the carer and patient are unable to establish and amicable relationship, a replacement caregiver will be sourced.

Support

As such they undertake to provide professional guidance that will deliver a good return on investment for its franchisees. Based on their years of experience, head office provides assistance with marketing, recruitment, labour relations and medical practices.

Are You Our Next Franchisee?

A Caregivers franchisee must have compassion for the sick and elderly, be patient and be able to work with people from all walks of life. A medical background will be advantageous and efficient time management skills is essential.
