The Chicken City concept was first franchised in 1997. The growing demand for our uniquely deep fried and grilled chicken, supported by our management and operational teams resulted in rapid growth and success.

The Brand

Our philosophy and focus is embodied in the structure of the CHICKEN CITY FRANCHISE AGREEMENT. We do not seek quick upfront profits by levying a large signing on fee but seek to minimise a Franchisee’s financial investment for market entry.

As our Franchisee family grows and prospers, then so shall we. CHICKEN CITY will be built by identifying committed, enthusiastic owner–operated Franchisees, getting them up and running and developing them with on-going support, advice and concept/product development.

A Chicken City Franchise enhances your odds of success and includes:

1. Use of the Chicken City Trademark.

The CHICKEN CITY Trademark and Image are build via judicious marketing, advertising and promotions funded via a predetermined (currently 1%) of the weekly Franchise Royalty which accrues to an Advertising Fund.

2. Store Design and Layouts.

Our management team has years of experience in retail and Franchise operations. Together with professional architectural and design specialists, we establish and develop standard store configurations which provide optimum appeal to customers and functionality for our Franchise operator.

3. Business Concept.

An existing and continuous developing package of an outstanding product range enhanced with the necessary business expertise, systems and support for Franchisees entering into, and achieving success in, the dynamic and growing fast food industry.

4. Business System.

Our Franchisees have access to the CHICKEN CITY business package, inclusive of recipes, customised administration systems and the operating procedures which promote a successful enterprise.
