The Brand

Crisp & Clean is a multi-revenue business operating in the laundry, dry-cleaning, carpet cleaning and general cleaning services sector, and currently have 14 franchises in operation. Crisp & Clean offers a proven model with a secure and fully scalable business; you are able to start small and grow a significant footprint over time. Once a Crisp & Clean franchisee you are able to open additional stores or outlets with no additional franchise fees payable.

Our primary objective with Crisp and Clean is to become the most relevant and successful Door-to-door Dry Cleaning Group in the country and to focus our collective capability on the massive demand for convenience Dry Cleaning and Laundry services which exist in every town and suburb.

Concept

Crisp & Clean is a door-to-door dry-cleaning and laundry service, we offer a cost-effective and time-saving service to the consumer. The company’s online order management system simplifies the overall process of ordering and tracking client interactions.

Our start-up franchise option offers door-to-door dry-cleaning and laundry services, carpet cleaning, a fabric protection service, steam cleaning services and bathroom sanitising. We also provide the option for franchisees to establish a highly visible branded retail store or the choice to set up their own high-margin laundry facility. In addition, the carpet cleaning and fabric protection services provides an immediate opportunity to increase revenue and profits from day one.

Crisp & Clean customers include both the residential and commercial sectors. Residential services include laundry and dry-cleaning, linen, bedding, curtains and carpets, while commercial services include laundry and cleaning services for all commercial establishments.

Franchisees are allocated rights to a territory comprising one to several municipal wards. Large territories are provided to allow for ongoing expansion.

The Crisp & Clean model aims to keep overheads low while providing a structure that encourages rapid growth. Franchisees will need to appoint a driver with an assistant to start with and a sales representative is also highly recommended. Thereafter, personnel can be added as the business grows.

Support

Franchisees are provided with support from the Franchisor by means of an operations director, national support manager, accountant and administration staff.

Franchisees attend a 3-day induction programme that covers all aspects of the Crisp & Clean business model and the essentials of running a small- to medium business. Immediately after operations commence, the operations manager and/or national support manager will assist franchisees with field sales training. Any follow-up training required will be for the franchisee’s account.
