Human Progress Management (HPM) was founded in 1989 with the purpose of supporting secondary and high schools to improve learning skills and academic results of participating learners. Great Four Learning Adventure was founded by HPM in 2014 as a new venture to address the decline in comprehension, literacy and mathematical skills in primary schools.
By the end of 2018, there were seven Great Four Learning Adventure franchises operating in South Africa, supporting primary schools to help learners with comprehension, literacy and mathematics skills.
Based on our achievements and vast experience in schools, as well as long term relationships within the educational sector, Great Four Learning Adventure is playing a valuable role in addressing the shortfalls in literacy and numeracy amongst primary school learners.
Great Four Learning Adventure’s vision is to support primary schools with the improvement of comprehension, literacy and mathematical skills of their learners.
Our Mission is to grow and develop our Franchisees, employees and service providers through sharing the entrepreneurial, innovative and visionary skills of the management of Great Four Learning Adventure.

Initial training and support:
All Franchisees are provided with initial training covering operational aspects of the Great Four Learning Adventure franchise business which includes an overview of the Great Four Learning Adventure business model.
Ongoing training and support:
The importance of thorough training cannot be over emphasised and it is essential to the success of all. Great Four Learning Adventure operations support will continue to support the Franchisees throughout their Great Four Learning Adventure Franchise ownership. Personal visits from the Franchisor will regularly be made.
The franchisor supports the franchisees with the following:
• Continuous support whenever needed regarding operational aspects as well as recruitment and training of tutors and marketers
• Regular visits by the franchisor to franchisees
• Updating of training material and programs
• Regular franchise meetings
