In 2004 Hot Dog Café made a conscious decision with regards to employment and shook South Africa like a sauce bottle. In conjunction with various government funding groups and other organizations we set a new standard for the empowerment of those who had been previously disadvantaged. Hot Dog Café set to work on training, funding (when qualifying criteria is met) and supporting new franchisees to help lead the brand into a new generation.
