HouseCheck is a national home inspection business. HouseCheck franchisees and inspectors inspect houses on behalf of prospective home buyers and sellers. HouseCheck produces detailed condition reports on homes, together with estimates of the cost of repairs, thereby enabling all parties to a property sale to make an informed decision. HouseCheck also conducts inspections on behalf of tenants and landlords. In the event of building disputes HouseCheck is able to document the condition of the property in an objective and professional manner. All HouseCheck inspectors are SAHITA-trained. (www.sahita.co.za).

The Brand

The home inspection business is growing fast world-wide. In the USA, the home inspection industry 8 out of every 10 homes are now inspected each time they are sold.

Home inspection is catching on fast in South Africa as more and more home buyers realise that the best way to make an informed buying decision is to commission a home inspection report which details and evaluates all observable defects and also provides estimates of the cost of repair.

With the rise of consumerism, home inspection is set to play an increasingly important role in the SA real estate industry. HouseCheck is the leading home inspection brand in terms of national penetration, quality of reports and turnaround times.

Concept

Buying a house is a huge financial investment and can be very risky. HouseCheck helps buyers ensure that there are no costly hidden defects in your dream house: A HouseCheck home inspection report documents and evaluates all observed defects and also provides you with an estimate of the costs of repair.

HouseCheck advises home buyers to always make their Offer to Purchase conditional on a HouseCheck report.

HouseCheck is able to provide an emailed quotation within minutes of receiving a request. Quote requests can be completed on-line or via the HouseCheck Call Centre.

HouseCheck provides a free 45-page HouseCheck Home Buyer’s Guide for prospective home buyers. This unique free book both empowers buyers and saves them money. HouseCheck teaches buyers what “money pits” they can avoid by helping buyers to properly understand the full sales process – from dealing with an estate agent…to making an offer… to getting a HouseCheck home inspection report…to getting a mortgage bond… to understanding transfer costs…to moving into their dream home.
