Human Progress Management was started 32 years ago in South Africa when there was a need in the schooling sector (in the high school stage) to develop learning skills. Our creative structured, fun learning methods have spread throughout the country, where we have been making a difference in the lives of teenagers. Our goal is to continue helping learners develop their learning skills through creativity in summaries and applying your (the learners) long term memory with enthusiasm, face to face and on online platforms.


Human Progress Management is a South African based, franchise-structured training company. We have offices throughout South Africa. Our focus is to teach learners the vital study skills they need in our demanding society to achieve the marks they require to pursue a ‘career direction’ of their choice. We work in more than 150 schools all over South Africa yearly. We are successfully helping learners from different upbringings and cultures to look at learning from a different positive perspective.


Initial training is provided for the first six months. After that, general training is provided annually or by request.  Ongoing support from the franchisor helps franchisees with business advice, planning, marketing and teaching strategies, etc.

We are looking for professional, hard-working individuals who can sell (or groom a salesperson). Be an excellent teacher or have (train and manage) teachers of the exact nature (teachers must be qualified, punctual their admin in order, creative, logical and enthusiastic to teach teens).

Building good long-lasting relationships with schools and colleges is very important; we are in the people business, so good relationship skills are essential.

HPM is not an investment business; it’s a working business. Therefore, a prospective buyer must actively work in and run the business.
