CEO, Hein Scheffer is an entrepreneur who has been involved in motor related solutions for many years. He signed up as the Franchisor and sole distributor of the Novus USA products and materials in 1980. NOVUS® USA were the inventors of windscreen repair in 1972 and currently have a presence in over 40 countries and have repaired in excess of 40 million windscreens. Locally, we intend to open a minimum of 120 solutions nationally in the next year, and manage these from our Head Office in Benoni.

The fact that we represent the most approved repair specialists using the most superior resin, worldwide, gives our franchisees the edge over local solutions, who unfortunately prefer to replace windscreens rather than repair. The cost between the 2 solutions is significant and the cost to replace is considerably higher; hence the focus on replacement. In addition, the environment is further burdened with glass in landfills. Repairing windscreens makes complete sense in several aspects; time involved in repair, cost, convenience, and environmental issues.

Our target markets are private vehicle owners, fleet managers and the motor insurance pool. Since this requires a national solution, we place our franchisees in locations dependent on the vehicle populations in those areas.

A unique and extremely positive aspect of our business is that it does not require the leasing of business premises; our agents work from their vehicles which means one Franchisee who can perform the repair with no assistance from additional staff.
