The Brand

Using his experience and passion gained in the bakery and deli industry, Michael Solomou started the original Pizza Perfect at Honeydew Shopping Centre in 1989.

In his quest to make and sell the perfect pizza, he introduced a pizza with significantly more cheese and toppings making it a more premium, fulfilling and satisfactory product for his customers.

Due to the immensely positive feedback received from his customers, he eventually decided to franchise the brand.

Concept

Pizza Perfect is the largest South African wood fired brand in Africa. Our product offering has expanded to include subs, pastas, chicken and desserts.

Pizza Perfect outlets are well suited to community, lifestyle and suburban shopping centres, anchored by any of the top national food retailers, coupled with a good tenant mix. Our target market is aimed at the LSM 5-10 consumer.

Typically store sizes range between 60m² to 100m² depending on the store footprint.

A typical staff compliment would consist of 8-10 staff, excluding a Manager and assistant Manager.

Support

Pizza Perfect management ensure that all new franchisees and staff undergo  a rigorous training programme that consists of a theoretical component held at Eclectic Brands training centre, and a practical component held at a designated  and nominated corporate store.

Once the outlet is opened, a Brand Manager will assist the franchisee in the daily management of the business for approximately one to two weeks.

On-going support and training is provided as and when required.
