The Brand

Judy Nieuwenhuizen, founder and franchisor of Prestige Baby & Kidz Academy comes from a corporate background and has been involved in various children’s projects throughout the course of her career.

When she started looking for a day care facility for her two children, she was totally frustrated and horrified by the process involved and by the lack of good facilities that offered a proper structure, care, services, personal attention and healthy meals. This was supported by the fact that a number of her friends and acquaintances, many being first time mothers, were having the same bad experiences.

She decided to do something about it and after thorough research and studying Child Day Care and Child Psychology; she opened her first branch in Johannesburg in 2009.

Concept

Prestige Baby & Kidz Academy has since become one of the most exclusive, up-market five star Early Childhood Development brands in the industry. They are structured and well managed, ensuring that the facilities, expertise, infrastructure, support and training is in place. To maintain the highest levels of services standards available, a research team constantly looks for new, innovative ways to improve the existing educational and development programmes, equipment and services on offer. Prestige Baby & Kidz Academy follows the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements teaching system as set out by the Department of Education.

Our children are our main focus and are given lots of love and attention in order to help them feel secure and to flourish and grow. We believe every child is different and should be treated and nurtured as such. Prestige Baby & Kidz Academy is based on a holistic and eco-friendly approach.

Support

Franchisees undergo training on the Prestige Baby & Kidz Academy system, making them proficient to competently run their franchise business. Refresher training is on offer with two back-up courses available to the franchisee and staff members within the first four months of operations.
