BATTERY HQ was established in 2020 during Covid-19 when we realised that there was a demand for a more affordable battery “franchise” in South Africa and neighbouring countries. With a combined experience of more than 40 years in the battery industry BATTERY HQ was conceptualised.
Battery HQ is unique in that it’s not just a battery outlet as our dealers may stock any other motor related products in their shops. We do not have any monthly fees.
Our target market covers anyone that has a vehicle, motorcycle, boat, truck and lithium battery users .
There are 6 key criteria when investigating the viability of a premises for a BATTERY HQ outlet:
If owner managed and run, only one extra person is required.
Prior to the official opening of the Battery HQ franchise outlet, our Training and Technical Director will train all persons involved at the outlet.
We have an “open door” policy where our Marketing Director is there to help wherever he is needed.
No experience is needed to become a Battery HQ franchisee, however we do prefer people that are extroverts who are able to easily communicate at all levels with strong selling skills.
