As one of the franchise sectors that have seen growth despite the recession, Car Service City’s annual conference & glam awards ceremony held recently celebrated their success and that of its franchisees.

Car Service City, having positioned themselves as one of the key players in the vehicle servicing industry in South Africa, with 44 branches nationwide and rapidly growing, followed a stringent selection process for all the nominees. Some of the parameters included but was not limited to, Head Office compliance, customer relationship management, and increase in value and volume figures as well as the good representation of the brand.

“Over the past year we’ve seen so many of our branches perform exceptionally well and narrowing them down to the top three branches was no easy task,” says Grant Brady, Car Service City CEO. The quality and standard this year was outstanding.

Top honour of 2013 Franchise of the Year went to the East London Vincent branch, the owners Ricky and Belinda Gulle who are true custodians of the Car Service City brand. New Franchisee of the Year 2013 went to Jonathan Barnard from the Constantia Kloof branch. Best Customer Service award was won by the Eloff Street branch and accepted by Danny Khumalo. The 2nd runner up franchise of the year was the Midrand branch owned By Stelios Kassianides, and first runner up was the Wadeville branch owned by Wynand Wolmarans.
