In 1987, the first Dulcé Ice Cream and Coffee shop in Rink Street was opened in Port Elizabeth close to today's International Head Office. The food menu was developed and continually upgraded through a process of ongoing market research. This has become an integral element of the success of Dulcé ’s franchise concept.

The Brand

Established since 1982. Franchising since 1994 with approximately forty outlets operating in 2014 in different locations such as malls, corporate head offices, private hospitals, office parks, airports, hotels, Country and Golf Estates.

Concept

Café Dulcé is a proudly South African brand with a continental menu. It is a brand focused in specific segments such as Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Events and Functions, Banqueting, serving high quality meals to a specific customer profile.

Support

Full training is given to management and staff, comprising of two weeks at head office or a training store and two weeks on site. Full ongoing support is provided throughout the franchise period.
