The Brand

Jimmy’s started in 1991 and has grown into an international brand. Restaurants are located in South Africa (4) UK (3) Cyprus (2) Bahrain (2) Abu Dhabi, Qatar & Saudi Arabia. The take away fast food outlets are predominantly based in Southern Africa. There are 8 stores in Botswana, 5 in Mozambique and 25 in South Africa. Jimmy’s is currently on a rapid expansion drive with 10 stores planned in 2025. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes and the pricing is most competitive still achieving a Gross Margin of 57%.

Concept

We are a fast-food franchise offering a wide variety of menu items, ranging from sandwiches and burgers to grilled chicken and fish and chips. What makes our business unique is our diverse menu that caters to different tastes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Our target market is broad, encompassing all age groups and preferences, as our wide selection ensures inclusivity. Typically, our locations are in bustling areas such as shopping malls, high-traffic urban zones, and near family-friendly neighbourhoods. Each franchise operates efficiently with a typical staff complement of 12, ensuring fast and friendly service for our customers.

Support

Initial Training

1. Comprehensive On boarding: A structured training program covering operations, customer service, inventory management, and food preparation standards.

2. Hands-On Experience: Practical training at an existing franchise location to familiarize franchisees with daily operations.

3. Business Setup Guidance: Assistance with site selection, store layout, and supplier on boarding.

4. Marketing Basics: Training on local marketing strategies, promotions, and brand positioning.

Ongoing Support

1. Operational Support: Regular check-ins, operational reviews, and performance assessments to identify growth opportunities.

2. Marketing Assistance: National and regional campaigns, social media support, and guidance on local promotional activities.

3. Continuous Training: Periodic workshops and refresher courses for franchisees and staff to stay updated on new menu items, technology, and industry trends.

4. Dedicated Support Team: A franchise support team available for troubleshooting and advice on operational or managerial challenges.

5. Technology Upgrades: Assistance with integrating new point-of-sale systems or tools to improve efficiency.
